Describe Yourself In One Quote

Standard

I love quotes. I have a fascination with them. I search them out, I apply them to life and use them to inspire myself each and every day. Of course I have my favorites, the ones that go so deep I feel like they stick to my soul. But if I had to pick one that describes my life up to this day, it would have to be this one. Here it is:

Have you ever thought about whether there is a perfect quote that seems to fit you? I would love to hear what it is. If you haven’t thought about it, give it a try. You might just learn a little bit more about who you really are.

  1. A quote thought up by my alter ego and werewolf friend Whizzy πŸ˜‰ “The only save safe is your mind, don’t blow it” which is kind of fitting to me since I am a pothead and we potheads suffer from short ter…….eh what was I talking about again?

  2. What a great quote AND post! My email has been for over 15 years, TheQuoteGal so I obviously adore quotes as well! Yours REALLY fits you! My favorite (can I sneak two short ones in here?) are:

“Everything is always okay in the end. If it’s not okay, then it’s not the end!”

“If I won’t be myself, who will?”

  3. “He and I are intertwined in an intimacy involving every fibre of my being.” –Sarah Young
–I love this quote and I guess you can say that this quote actually defines me. Sarah Young said this about her relationship with Jesus.

  4. A few months ago, I read a book called “The Prison Angel”. In it the author, Mother Antonio, said “It’s not learning that brings you to perfection, it’s unlearning.” While attaining perfection is not my goal, I think it is true that a huge percentage of personal growth work is to unlearn rather than to learn. That has certainly been my experience, and I like the thought of people thinking of me in that way.
