We just hopped in the convertible to go for ice cream. The top was down and the wind was hitting me in the face. I can’t tell you the last time I felt that free.
When is the last time you felt that kind of freedom?
Forget yesterday – it has already forgotten you. Don’t sweat tomorrow – you haven’t even met. Instead, open your eyes and your heart to a truly precious gift – today ~Steve Maraboli
Last time I felt that kind of freedom was in 2011 when I went to the beach(again) with my husband when we first got together and upon hitting the sand, I took off my shoes and took off running at full sprint.
It was freakin awesome. So exhilarating. I felt like I was flying. And little did I know that would be the last time I’d feel that feeling. If I had known, I would’ve kept going.

I’m not sure I can remember the last time i felt that free (it’s been a while), but I have had lots of moments like this, and today, thanks to you…I’m remembering that feeling! *smiling*. Thanks for the memory jog. π

I remember that feeling. Takes me back to highschool actually. Running out the door, jumping in the car with friends going “nowhere,” and just not being controlled! π

When I last went to GA and sat in the woods before first light. I feel free when I am unplugged.

probably the last time I felt as free as you described was when I jumped out of an airplane in 1997. It was my second and last tandem jump and it was great. I had a video of it but lost it years ago.

Wow you are brave. I am afraid I would die of a heart attack before I made it to the ground π
