It’s the little things. There is nothing much better than walking into Little Caesars and walking out with a hot and ready pie a minute later. I pushed my easy button tonight.
What is something you appreciate that makes your life easier in a flash?

Although I do like the fact that is rather fast to go in and get a Hot and Ready in record time, I just wish they were consistent when making them.

Yes, me too and I only want the fresh ones š

If there’s a difference between fresh and whatever-else-the-others-are, SOMEONE has to get the lesser ones. Right? Isn’t this like getting apples from an orchard or grocery store? Who will eat the imperfect apples if everyone wants perfection? To which graveyard to the not-so-fresh pizzas go? š

Yeah we are the not so fresh one anyway

What do you mean you are the not-so-fresh? I think what you get is up to chance. So, today you might be extra nice and be surprised with the freshest slice. But, tomorrow you couldn’t resist giving someone the finger; so you got a pizza that with the smell of something that lingered.
I am having another Dr Seuss moment…it will pass…hopefully not with gas. š

There is a grocery store on Evergreen Parkway that has huge chocolate chip cookies for 50 cents. Park, rush in, place them in a plastic bag, pay, and fly.

My kind of cookies š

I’m just sayin’. š If we get caught up in the “Isn’t it great we can just rush in and get what we want,” we might become impatient pests when the frequency changes.

I don’t think so. I am totally responsible for two human lives. When something makes my job easier, I am extremely grateful but never expect it.

So, you could wait in a line around the block for the sweeeeet, sweet giant cookie? Or, could you be just as happy with some other cookie?

I would make my own cookies š

Okay, now you’ve done it. Little Caesar’s pizza and homemade cookies. Expect a surprise visitor at your door. I will be popping in like Mary friggin Poppins. š But, I will laugh like the Pillsbury dough boy.

Lol! Usually we make boboli pizzas but man it’s expensive. Might as well buy one š Better get here early, I usually eat most of the cookie dough so completed baked cookies are few and far between. I can’t help it š

Yea, what is up with those Boboli people? You’d think there was gold woven into the dough. Maybe there’s some magic in that old, stale dough I found; and when I put a hat on it, it will begin to dance around.
I am not saying Little Caesar’s is the best pizza in the world–not by a long shot–but it fills the bill now and then. [I can’t say the same for the lousy pizza I had in Pisa, Italy. :P] I am just as content with Orv’s or Jack’s frozen pizzas. Digiorno’s are okay, too. There’s a discount grocery store that has some nice fresh “Papa Johns-ish” pizzas that can be good. I am not too picky. But, I’d have to make a trip for some really good pizza…and it would cost me a bit.
You eat the dough before the cookies are made? Well, that makes a ton of sense. š Tell ya what. We will have pizza and chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream….or pizza with cookie dough ice cream.

Sounds like a plan. For the record, my thing with boboli is I have flavored olive oils that are fantastic. We do have a NY Pizza place that has fantastic pizza!

I am amazed people can do more than one thing with olive oil. I would think…it’s olive oil and does what olive oil does. I can’t imagine other flavors.
Pizza UNO? Oprah had a list of the nation’s best pizza places one day a few years ago. I have it written down somewhere.

We put olive oil on pasta instead of sauce. Chipotle olive oil, green chili olive oil. Some like it hot!

Bleh. No way. Pasta with tomato sauce all the way. You can dine with my mother if you want oily pasta. š hehe
And, I am not a fan of spicy foods, often. I can tolerate the occasional jalapeno.

I haven’t had their pizza in a long time. I like Papa Johns and Dominos but the best pizza here is from a little place called Genties. they have this fantastic white pizza and since I’m vegetarian, it’s just perfect.

I don’t really know or think of anything that makes life easier in a flash. I suppose there are conveniences I take for granted. Being able to connect with this website is a small, sad blessing in itself. I would have a really sore writer’s bump (which has been stinging the past few days) if I had to jot down my thoughts in notebooks instead of on a computer. [I still recommend people keep a paper journal instead of an online one.]
