Today is our first major tornado threat of the year here in Oklahoma. Isn’t it amazing and crazy how much our lives can change in just 24 hours? Everything that seemed like such a big deal yesterday isn’t even a single thought today. Life has a funny way of putting things in perspective especially when we’ve forgotten how to do it for ourselves. Today be grateful for all of your blessings no matter how big or small. Don’t take anything for granted and keep in mind today and tomorrow may look very different from one another. We are in a constant state of change. This too shall pass. Until then I will hunker down until the storm blows past and it will pass in its own time.
Life really does have a way of making us sit up and take notice of what is really important. Be safe!

Wow, I’ve been following your blog for a few months now and didn’t know you were from Oklahoma. Lol
My husband and I lived in Tulsa for a little bit. It sucked but it’s a great place to visit. Lol

I am not a big fan of Oklahoma myself. We live in Norman going on year number 7. I’m ready for a change but my daughters a senior next year.

I would be a nervous wreck living in Tornado Alley! I lived in Houston for over 20 years and saw a few hurricanes but at least you have some warning for them! I hope you make it safely through the season. Such things do put life in a new perspective.

Yep Tornado Alley is no fun. Mother Nature can be pretty scary sometimes!

We have lost our homes twice, once to a derecho and once a tornado. These things most certainly get ones attention. Praying you are safe and sound.
