Light Up The World

Standard

Do not be changed by the world but rather be the change it so desperately needs. Do not just go to church but be the church by spreading your love and offering grace every place you go. Do not be ashamed of who you are, but be unapologetically you never backing down from the unique person you’ve become. Do not be an echo but a strong voice that does not waiver or shake when the worldly view differs so far from your own. Do not be silent and stand strong in the face of pointing out what is right and what is so horribly wrong. You have the power to change lives so do not let anyone tell you that there isn’t a way. Do not snuff out the light but be a lamp so bright it will light up the world.

Go To The Light

Standard

Oh my goodness. I hear it. I see it. I feel it. The absolute panic caused by clinging to such worldly things. Negativity is a deadly, toxic disease. It goes after the spirit and it snuffs out the light until all that is left is fear and hopelessness. How do we contain it when people are having real, physical meltdowns because they don’t want a particular person in power or because the world does not reflect back what they think it should? When did we become so consumed with the shallow and sign up to fight a battle that is a distraction from the real war? Where are the voices that lift us up? Where are the hopeful, the joyful, the grateful? I can’t hear them because the small tribe around me has become infected with the poison. It bleeds out in their thoughts and their words as I draw my shield to protect myself from the damage. I have found a new “support” group that I meet with once a week. It is a space of healing and support. It renews my hope and stirs a peace and love beyond my comprehension. We all need a group or a person or a place who tugs at us long enough so that we can stand tall. We are warriors and we must drown out the dread and breathe hope and healing into the souls who are lost and broken. Step into the light and show yourself so your light can join with the Universal light and ones who choose to be blind can no longer ignore this beacon of hope.

You are meant for more than pettiness and smallness. You are meant to do great things and to share your peace and love with the rest of mankind. Be the light. Share the light. Spread it far and wide and remember the power it has to bring about the most profound change. Do it now. We need you.

Morning Motivation

Standard

Use your voice to talk about what is right with the world. What is perfect, amazing, awesome, heartwarming? Dwell on that. Obsess about it, rave about it, over think it and repeat again. Share it everywhere until it becomes second nature. Be a well of positivity and never allow yourself to be a drain. You have so many reasons to celebrate, so many blessings to feel grateful for and so many opportunities to be a force of love, appreciation and light. Get out there and shine your warmth on everyone. Be a voice and not an echo and be accountable for your own vibe. Make it a good one!

Which One Are You?

Standard

There are those people who open the blinds every morning so everyone can see the sun. There are also those people who purposely create a room of darkness to keep out the light. Which person are you?

It’s amazing to me how consistent some people are with their positivity or negativity and how they use it to influence others especially on social media. It’s time to be accountable for everything we say and do and how it contributes to humanity as a whole. Something to consider.

Something to Remember

Standard

Don’t ever let anyone define or limit your worth. You are limitless, one of a kind, amazing in your own unique way. You are more than they will ever see. Go out and shine that light that was meant for you. You matter. You make a difference. This is your reminder!

Nothing But Light

Standard

I went to another concert last night. I was left with this image of the entire arena filled with individual lights. It was a beautiful sight. Sometimes I don’t see the light in others because I don’t want to look hard enough but last night all I saw was light. What an amazing  feeling. One that left me full of hope. What was your glimmer of hope today?

Get Your Sparkle On

Standard

I put a shirt on today that has the word LOVE on the front decorated  in several, tiny, silver and gold sequence. The sun is reflecting off of the sequence and my whole car is lit up and sparkling. This is my reminder to get your sparkle on. I cannot stop smiling. Go out there and shine your light!
